5-minute crafts

Hello everybody!

If you looked at the above image, it probably seems like these are just some random crafts and that’s right. Every once in a while I get an idea for a cool craft and I do it but all of these were so easy I didn’t want to make a separate post for each. So I just decided to combine them in this post!

So in this post, I’m showing you how you can craft your own choker, popsocket and stress ball in just a few minutes!

Choker

This chocker is really easy to make, all you’ll need is:

  • Some cute ribbon
  • A clasp
  • An elastic
  • Glue

Step 1: Attaching the elastic to the clasp

I know it’s called a choker, but you don’t actually want to choke while wearing it. To prevent that we’re adding an elastic to the clasp which allows you to move your neck abit while wearing it.

Start with folding the elastic double and pulling it through one end of the clasp. Then loop it through itself.

Attach the other part of the clasp to the elastic band.

Step 2: Attaching the ribbon

Cut off a piece of ribbon that fits around your neck. I cut it a bit smaller though because my clasp was pretty big.

Then glue the ends of the ribbon to both sides of the clasp and that’s it!

I think it looks really cute, what about you?

Stress Ball

All you’ll need to make a DIY Stressball is:

  • A balloon
  • Some Flour
  • A funnel
  • A Sharpie

Step 1: Filling the balloon with flour

Use the funnel to fill the balloon with flour. You might need to use something like a pencil to push it in.

Step 2: Making a knot

Make a knot in the top of the balloon.

Step 3: Decorating

Use a sharpie to decorate the balloon. I decided to go with the Halloween theme and make a pumpkin, but you can decorate it any way you want!

And that’s it! It looks really cute and it’s so squishy!

Popsocket

If you don’t know what a popsocket is, it’s an accessory for your phone which makes you able to grip it better and you can use it to form a phone stand.

What you’ll need to make it:

  • 2 suction cups
  • A toothpick
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Decoration

Step 1: Glueing the toothpick to the suction cup

Start with cutting the points from the toothpick with your scissors and glue it into one of the suction cups. Most suction cups have little holes in the top and a toothpick fits in it perfectly. This is to give the popscocket more strength.

Step 2: Sticking the other suction cup on top

Cut off the excess of the toothpick and use some glue to stick the other suction cup on top.

Step 3: Decorating

You’re basically done now, but if you want you can decorate the popsocket. I decided to stick this button-ish thing on one side to make it look cuter, but there are loads of ways you could decorate it.

Now you can just press it against a phone case.

I like this craft a lot because you can easily place and remove the popsocket when needed.

That’s it for today! Which craft is your favorite? let me know in the comments.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, please like, comment and/or share. I would really appreciate that. And follow me for more DIYs and creative content!
